Dr. Sandun Senarath of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, together with Dr. Olga Nuneza of MSU-IIT and the Misamis University Research Center team headed by Russel Galindo, presented the results of the research on phytochemical identification and the scientific validation of the health benefits of the organic products produced by the LGU of Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur on September 20, 2019.
Dr. Olga Nuneza also presented the mechanics of trademark and patent securement. This presentation is part of series of activities identified in MU's Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (link to MOU article) with the Local Government Unit of Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur, and University of Sri Jayewardenepura, last year.
Attending the activity were the Executive Committee of Dumingag -LGU headed by Mayor Joan Pacalioga-Abejuela, the heads and staff of various offices of LGU Dumingag and Misamis University.
